About this editorial team

Marie Lefèvre-Dubois has tracked the Belgian market since 2014 and verifies every claim paying particular attention to bonus terms. Writes from Liège.

The outbound links earn us a fee; the assessment is not altered by it. The black list is named even when it costs us.

How we test. every test starts with a real account, start with a deposit of our own money, ask for the money back and measure how long it takes. Licence status is verified directly with the Gaming Commission and read the bonus terms line by line. No claim without our own observation.

Limits, age and EPIS

Player protection in Belgium is arranged more strictly than most of its neighbours with effects you cannot route around. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week. Dropping that limit is possible at any moment, upwards, a review and a delay apply.

The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. The entry point is the Gaming Commission. For casino, gaming hall and betting the bar has been 21 since September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. Without valid ID you do not get through.
